Ryan Madsen Game Developer
  • All the large games I've made so far have been using C++ for the engine so I am most familiar with that programming language.

  • I created a prototype for Bacchus' Quest with Unity and a level editor for it in C#.

  • I've taught GameSalad to children and know how to use Scratch.

  • Learned some basic Java in a month to design some AI for a Robocode Bot and a Ms. Pacman game.

  • For both Robo-Tactics and Bacchus' Quest, I have created Game Design Documents and worked with the Scrum development cycle.

Skills

◆ I earned my Bachelor of Science in Game Development Degree at Full Sail University in 2014.

◆ Throughout my education I discovered my enjoyment and skill to find bugs in games and fix many of them.

◆ I attended my local IGDA branch's meetings and volunteered at Pure Motivation events to help the community.

◆ With teams I created two big games Robo-Tactics and Bacchus' Quest. You can watch a video and download them on my projects page.

Iam

A GAME DEVELOPER

I've been creating and designing games since my childhood. I've become a Game Developer to not only bring those games to life, but to also use my skills to help people in different ways. I am a creative coder looking to change how society plays games by revolutionizing traditional game mechanics.
